Yeah, I've been finding the VV's in Winnipeg are being very stern when it comes to open packages, missing price tags and such.
My kid brought a stuffed animal to the cashier a few weeks back. It was $3.99 but the tag fell off somewhere between toys and the cashier. They refused to sell it to us.
Same deal with open bags of late.
I'm understanding that they get a lot of people playing bait and switch on them but when they start punishing my eight year old kid because their cheap assed paper price tag fell off I think they are taking things a bit too seriously.

Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted I've been off the radar for a few months. I had an awesome haul at Value Village in Dartmouth!!!! . Sky Lynx!!!!....He's not complete obviously but for a 1.99 I'm not gonna argue, Demolishor, and a third figure. I don't know his name, but I think he was in ROTF, Anyone know who he is???? and all for the low price of 10 dollars!!!! God I love Value Village!!!!
I picked up a Voyager Cybertron Starscream almost complete (He's missing his tail fins) for $2! Fantastic score. They also had a bunch of the first movies toys, but I wasn't too interested.
