The funny thing with my son is that he's usually pissed when I transform them to robot mode. That's why I gave him all my ROTF/DOTM RPM/Speed Stars little cars!

Okay, but how much did it cost you in Canadian dollars, after taxes, shipping, duty charges, etc...? Probably around $130-$140?

That's what he told me too, but I was sort of not convinced that he totally knew what he was talking about. He also seemed to be confused about the existence of the Hasbro MP Soundwave outside of SDCC, and how many cassettes it comes with.

Still, seemed like a cool guy, and not everybody can be as much of a TF nerd as we are (especially if you also need to be an expert on OTHER toy lines too).

I dunno about any QUEBEC RETAIL version, but the "normal retail world" version does indeed talk
Didn't someone in this thread end up with a non-speaking version? One that only had sound effects? I seem to remember hearing someone say that.

I was the same way as a kid... my younger brother, not so much. He broke his toys AND my toys.

SO... where did you get yours? And does he speak in full sentences?

(Metroplex, not your son.)

no taxes, nor shipping fees and with the conversion it cost me about 150.00 can which includes shipping but at least i have the english version ( sound clip) and i have it now !!... have it bought here it would have cost me more ... around 20.00 or so more acually

i had to lock mine in my workshop because my kids are looking for him everywhere lol...

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

US Metroplex (w/ voice, available now) = around $150 or $160 shipping/duty fees included

CDN Metroplex (no voice, available in the coming weeks) = $161 (139.99 + tx)

So yeah, that's why I ordered from BBTS and not TRU.ca

Granted that TRU.ca pricing. Might be cheaper elsewhere. Question is, will it actually show up elsewhere?
