After seeing it today I'm 90% sure it's better painted then the US one. The primes I saw at the Burnhamthorp Wallys were a deep red, not "lightish red" like the US version.

Well it's good to hear like they actually went and fixed some of these issues as I saw this a few months back and like others stated it looked like he was left out in the sun for a couple of days before it left the factory. Either way at $70 plus sales taxes it's way overpriced in my opinion.

I spent the money to get an Encore version of OP. I'm happy with my choice. Although if this does end up on clearance at some point I'd pick it up. It does come with a blue roller, right?

Paint app is indeed much better than the US one that was in hobby shops a while back. It's not pink looking anymore

The superior version is still the New Year version with blue eyes, blue windows and matrix.

Re: 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime Released at Canadian Retail

Awesome! This leaves a lot to be gotten for my collection though, Jetfire & Jetstorm, the Universe Wave 5 Deluxes, the Legends, Animated Cliffjumper, & now this.

Well, now I can get my hands on a G1 Prime, since I haven't had the tendency to go on Ebay, & I wasn't even born when the original came.

Someone start playing "The Touch" by Stan Bush now... I must be anticipating this for a while...

Re: 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime Released at Canadian Retail

It's a good thing I'm too busy getting enough funds together for MP Grimlock that I won't feel bad about not getting this one.
Besides, having an original, a G2 and a Pepsi Prime means getting this one would be a bit redundant.

Re: 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime Released at Canadian Retail

do we acutally get the cheaper listing price by comparing to the US one ? this is a good thing at least. And I finally could put the MP roller inside the trailer
