Guess he didn't read the part where a lot of us said the shipping was free. Or $50 to my door etc.

*shrugs*

Holy! Why is this Datsun mold $20 more than Hasbro MP Prowl, which only just came out last year? They should be the same price.

I can't believe this is even a thread at that price 89.99 is insane. That's 100 with tax! Just ignore it. Vote with your wallet. Money is the bottom line for TRU. Period. No ands ifs or buts.

Or maybe you didn't read the part where I PROVED it wasn't free.

Making a statement isn't providing proof. I have provided PROOF, with facts and direct price quotes.

I am more than happy to relinquish my position at the first hint at evidence.

Re: Hasbro Masterpiece Bluestreak released in Canada

at $90 CAD for Takara vs, 89.99 plus tax for Hasbro it is still less expensive to get Takara. And, Takara is usually better quality.

MP10 was about $220 CAD and Hasbro MP OP $99 plus tax at TRU at first. the takara version is nicer i think.

TRU prices on MPs have risen steadily since and not in proportion to quality. Prowl was listed $10 less than Bluestreak is for example.

TRU or Hasbro or both are discovering how much they can get for the MPs and Pgianos is absolutely right i think that not paying the bloated prices is the only way to bring prices back down

Totally dude they are trying to determine the price point at which revenue is max not unit sales. They are about to find out with their latest goat, platinum.and MP releases.
I don't believe we should tell people what to do with their money but I believe in education each other. These prices are marked up worse than shoppers drug mart.

When the 25% off sale hits he will end up costing about $75 so I'm still getting him (well actually got him today). I have 90 days to return it if no sale happens. I'm patient that way.

I think it's 45 days, unless they recently changed their policy?
