You'd better bring in that Visa Black Card then.

Comics will be there but very limited, this IS a toy convention.
With about 730 people going as of this post........... good lord

Only worry is space, I planned for maybe 400-500 (already more then Toycon), I didn't think almost 1000 would come.
Either way, show up early guys and get ready for some insanity.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread
Whoohooo. Can't wait for Sunday.
All of my still-boxed or still-packaged toys have been pricetagged and packed for transport. Still need to figure out what to do with my loose/bagged toys, but that's not a big deal either way as I have the magic spreadsheet printed out.
An iPhone was borrowed last week so that I can use my SQUARE; sucks that there's no Windows Phone version of the app. Not a big deal since my brother had his old iPhone4 just lying around; he was on the iPhone5 and my parents had his old iPhone4, but he then upgraded to the iPhone6+ and handed my parents the iPhone5, leaving the iPhone4 an orphan...
So stoked!

Can I ask which figures you would be bringing? Since this will be my first TF convention, how will I know who's who? I already know one person here in real life.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread
I wouldn't call this a "TF convention". It's more like just a dealer room... a sort of collective yard sale party for retro-themed toys. As for recognizing us... if you meet anyone that you get along with, you can ask them if they post here. In my experience, a lot of local toy collectors don't follow this forum at all, or only lurk.
Also, I think it's unlikely that all 700 people would show up at the same time (plus, on Facebook, a "going" is really a "maybe").

Like SMOG said, it's less of a "TF-convention" and more of a huge dealer room with people selling all sorts of toys, figures, etc; not limited to TFs only.
I will prep up a list of things that I'm bringing shortly; I really have no issues putting things aside for fellow boardies.

Hahahaha.
You won't know who's who until you speak to them of course.
By chance I knew what you like when you popped in that TF aisle.
I've met a few.
Freedomgundam is a white dude and SMOG is an Asian dude. Or the other way around.
Protoman's always the TF dealer. Can't miss his table and always surrounded by other members.
Have fun.
