my only beef with rid scourge/black convoy are:
- the chrome on the front grills in truck mode can wear out quite easily, so even for your (presumably) brand new black convoy, do not expect the front grills to have perfect chrome as it wears out in time
- as you can prolly see in tsuko's photos, the shoulders in robot mode never stays upright or perpendicular to the body; it always tips down a bit for some unknown reason
the ROTF leader black prime in my photo is the DOTM jetwing black prime asia-exclusive, not the japanese-only exclusive back in the ROTF days. totally worth it even for 300 bucks from say tfsource (i got it at almost half price though, one-time offer and wished i could get a second one) because you get a very nice nemesis color scheme leader ROTF prime (arguably the best toy mold/rendition for the movie prime) and a nice set of chromed jetwing equipment. the chrome jetwings that came with the black jetwing prime is extremely nice on the silvery ROTF buster prime if you happen to have one lying around
i have more black prime repaints, but either there is no space to put them on display (black masterpiece prime) or im feel like keeping it MISB instead (black alternity)
ever since hasbro/takara got into the idea of repaints, i believe all nemesis prime/scourge are always repaints of the prime mold, and which non-G1 series has ever had a non-prime leader to begin with? so nope i dont think he ever had his own mold, unless you count cybertron dragon scourge as one (but i dont)
