Re: Anyone seen Arcee at regular retail anywhere?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've been burned by ordering things from the States only for them to show up in Canada in full force a month or so later. Tailgate, and Waspinator wave for example.

Re: Anyone seen Arcee at regular retail anywhere?

Not sure if this means anything. I had a look at the Hasbro Canada site. They're listing the Combiner Wars and new Legends class Powerglide now. But no Arcee.

I checked the U.S. site to compare what they list (and to see if the Cdn site differed), and the U.S. site lists a much large library including Arcee and the new ones yet to come like Motormaster and Robots In Disguise series.

True. She was a peg warmer for a while too.

Another solid play is to keep an eye on Amazon. You will eventually find Arcee and Chromia (who I personally feel is the better of the two) and either at or less than retail.

If Chromia DOES make it to retail here I'm grabbing an extra one. I want to see what you can put together by frankensteining one with a Beast Hunter Arcee

Maybe I could get a cool Moonracer custom out of it?

Re: Anyone seen Arcee at regular retail anywhere?

Normally I'd be patient, but I only have a temporary part time job that will end by the end of February, after that I'll have no cash. So its kind of a now or never situation for me.

But to echo what someone else said, I don't understand Hasbro's logic in keeping what is probably the most anticipated Generations figure in years for the last wave.

I took no chances on this one and ordered from Automaton. It'll save me money on gas (and heartburn)

The wave may still show up here. For the longest time we thought we weren't getting the Rattrap wave so I grabbed them when I went to TF Con Chicago and they ended up being spotted the day I got back here so you never know

Re: Anyone seen Arcee at regular retail anywhere?

I'm pretty sure Arcee and the rest of her wave will show up at retail eventually as well. For the longest time I was waiting for Generations Cosmos to show up on shelves and peghooks around town, eventually got impatient and ordered it with something else I ordered from the TRU website cuz it went clearance and I couldn't get it locally. The addition of Cosmos bumped me over the limit in order to receive free shipping. But months literally months later Cosmos started appearing at local stores. Canadian retail outlets are usually just late to the party for distribution. From my observation, best guess is that the wave will show up at Canadian retail 3 months after the initial US launch starting with Target in very minimal quantities, then eventually in larger amounts between Walmart and TRU about a month after that.

I've observed the same experience waiting for the Windblade wave, Swerve, Waspinator's wave, etc.
