Anyone else find transforming your Transofrmers relaxing?

I know if I am on the phone with a problem customer that sometimes I will find myself changing one of the figures on my desk from one form to the other and it calms me down.

Anyone else experience this?

Exactly that. On the phone, bored or irritable. Transform (lately MP12) to relax.

From my home office when I'm working And getting stressed, which happens quit often, I go to my display, which is pretty much surrounding me, I'll just grab a Transformers and start playing....It really is a stress reliever for me.... Problem lies when I forget all the stress and also what I need to do and when I get back to reality I got the same work just less time to complete it.... But I feel so much better...

Agreed! I have a handful of legend class bots at my desk that I'll transform back and forth while I'm working through a problem or on a lengthy phone call. I prefer smaller figures with simple, fun transformations for this.

just the opposite. Some of these 3ps are so complex that gives me anxiety that I'm going to snap something or cause stress marks. I should take up lawn bowling maybe.

Yup. I try to bring a different one everyday to my desk.

I also prefer the lighting there than back home.

I agree with this, although I don't usually have one on hand.

Re: Anyone else find transforming your Transofrmers relaxing?

Absolutely.

My wife has said she can tell what kind of day I've had by looking at the TF shelf. All suddenly in car mode

I love to unwind after work (I work evenings) with netflix and a few TFs to fiddle with. This is a big reason I love Combiner Wars. The extra modes and conversion. Even though most aren't too hard, the "puzzle" nature of converting is stress-relieving. Sitting down watching Archer, grab Victorion or Bruticus...

Unless we're talking about nervously transforming an MP or Alternator.

To be quite honest, even as a kid, the primary "gimmick" of TFs, that of conversion, is what put them above any other toy for me. If I have one GI Joe, or one He-Man, one standard action figure, big deal. One TF can engage me for a decent amount of time. They all DO something. I like the variety, the gimmick.

Well, at the end of the day this is really the third toy that makes up a Transformer: figure, alt-mode, and puzzle.
