Well so far it's better then i expected. I must say, they did a good job, it's actually pretty good. I think it's starting to grow on me.

I just finished watching it on YTV moments ago. I wasn't exactly blown away by it; it does have some potential I'll give it that. Starscream was pretty cool though; as usual, Prime dies too easily. But yeah, I'll second the key-back-to-life getting old really fast.
.... I never watched Cybertron, but I did watch Galaxy Force; as for Animated being better than it, I highly doubt it at the moment.

Just the later half of the one hour special, I'm not sure if It's because of the simplistic transformation animation zoom-ins, or whether I actually miss the Japanese detail animation of the Cybertron series.
Just gotta wait for more episodes, until then...*yawn*

I just finished watching it and I LOVED it! Ultra Magnus and Starscream were so much like their G1 personnas right down to the voices. I like all the characters, and was surprised to find that I even liked Optimus Prime because I never have before.
I'm really glad I got a DVD recorder the other day because I'm going to enjoy watching the episodes more than once. I'm hooked.
