toys across the boarder, where are the stores?

Always heard about the good stuffs and pricing in US, where are stores (including mess retailers) that one should not miss while across the border?

Well... considering most of the world exists under the boarder, I would try to be a bit more specific.

That being said for me, Wal Mart is always the cheapest, followed by Target and Toys R Us and then Kmart.

On one of my trips to LA I noticed that pricing at 2 Targets, that were close to each other, was different, so I guess depends on the demographics.

Yeah. I don't want to narrow down to the boarder of BC but the boarder around Canada and US ?
I really have no clue how many boarders are existed in between

Guys... b o r d e r not "boarder"

Are you talking specialty stores for the Japanese/Asian market stuff or mass retail?

For Mass retail I concur that Wal-Mart, Target, even the Fred Meyers in Bellingham are good places to start and I've had some luck at those locations.

As for specialty (i.e., 3rd Party like FansProject, Takara Tomy items like 'Henkei', 'United' or the recent '2010' campaign), I recommend you shop around Vancouver/Burnaby/Richmond at places like Metropolis, Gotham, A3U, SoA. Prices for the harder to find stuff may seem ridiculous but with gas at $1.30/litre the markups end up being the same price as driving to the 2 comic/specialty stores in downtown Bellingham or to Golden Age Collectibles at Pike Place Market in Seattle.

There is automatic infraction for correcting a MOD's Grammer and spelling.

What???

OK...so I won't take the bait and correct "Grammer" to "grammar", then.

Come on it's the Internet. Do you really expect perfect grammar and sentence structure? Especially on a message board!

Re: toys across the boarder, where are the stores?

If you're in Vancouver, and going into Washington from the Peace Arch border crossing, there are a whole slew of Targets and Walmarts between Bellingham and Seattle along the interstate. There's also a couple Toys R' Us like in the Alderwood Mall Pkwy in Lynnwood. I recommend you just google map this stuff.

I rarely have any luck at Walmarts, but Targets and Toys-R-Us are a good bet for stock.

Oy vey, guys...you're worse than my kids. Ok, ok...Sorry for imposing my anality. I retract my corrections so you can feel free to misspell till the cows come home. But I personally think if we don't make an effort to uphold correct spelling and grammar then writing letters, composing email messages, posting on boards...all that will de-evolve into illegible AOL-level acronyms.

Anyways soz if I offended anyone with m.02

@TEOTD WGAFF, rite?
