Re: Transformers Podcasts

I listen to Radio Free Cybertron (the FIRST Transformers podcast), TFYLP, and Transformers Slag (whenever they actually put up a new one!)

I used to listen to WFT@TFW, but after a while I came to find the "humour" grating.

Interesting comment. I actually tried listing to a transformers podcast a few weeks ago (I honestly don't know which podcast it was though) and had to turn it off for the same reason.

Don't get me wrong...I appreciate that people are spending their personal time putting out content for free and understand that not everyone is a comedian but this particular one was so "humour heavy" that I began to find it grating. I suppose that's the beauty of there being a number of different Transformers podcasts out there. There's something for everyone.

I generally prefer shorter podcasts. The "Transformers and Beer" ones are only about an hour long, so it's not much of a time committment. I can get in a full episode on my way to work, on my lunch hour, etc.

So I checked out Skullface on youtube. The guy has a pretty decent review thing going on. And I agree with Meg75- Shorter podcasts are better for me to tune into also.

Re: Transformers Podcasts

Skullface is good because he isnt trying to sell you anything. Just giving you the truth about toys. He's pretty funny too.

I will definitely check that episode out. My wife is very understanding, to a point...LOL. I'd like to have some ideas in my back pocket should the topic ever come up.

Thanks Robimus. Protoman is very knowledgable and quite a respected member of the transformers community. He even made an appearance as a transformers expert on the Canadian Storage Wars. I will definitely have to check out the Canadian Slag podcast.
