It'll be a good time I'm sure I'm excited to join the fray. I've been collecting since 1995. The old marketplace newsgroups alt.toys.transformers days.

It's a bit of a trip for you but you'll definitely have a blast at TFcon.

Re: My First TFCON!
Last year was my first TFCon and it was a blast...although I probably bought some stuff that I shouldn't have. I would suggest making a list of things you'd like to pick up and it will help establish a budget. I got sidetracked by a few things I saw early on and then missed out on something I really wanted.
Also, it was my first time, so I didn't really participate in some of the events like the karaoke because I was too chicken to talk to people

Re: My First TFCON!
That's awesome. I find it weird to you to an American show before a Canadian one.
Once you're here, don't be a D to anyone, and compose yourself when you enter the dealer room.

Re: My First TFCON!
Come to panels! It's a nice way to wind down a little bit, learn some things, sit in on podcasts like Preorder 66 or Vangelus, ask voice actors those nagging questions that keep you up at night, etc.
There's some freak in a crown who makes sure that everything goes well. She is easily bribed with Mountain Dew and Canadian Coke.
Also, you learn a lot of fun things, especially the third party product panel.

Re: My First TFCON!
I'm looking forward to my first TFCon as well. Making it the tail end of my vacation with my wife.
Got Peter Cullen's autograph last year at Calgary Expo so I'm excited to get Welker's this year at TFCon.
