Metroplex Dimensions and Storage Concerns

Hello All,

Currently have Metroplex waiting in my Pile of Loot at BBTS and will be shipping him very soon.

The question I have has to do with his actual dimensions, and storage concerns I have for him.

Currently I do not have much space for displaying my collection and I expect before too long I'm going to want to put him into storage.

Normally for my nicer, favourite or more collectible items I keep the packaging so that I can place them back in their boxes.

However as Metroplex can't be put back in his package and the package isn't all that nice anyways I'm thinking of picking up a plastic tub of the right size and a block of foam to cut down to size to hold him in well padded luxury. I figure his cannon/gun and Scamper can be kept alongside his legs below the arms.

Before I go shopping for the container. I'd like to know as precisely as possible how tall he is from foot to top of shoulder spikes when they are collapsed, how wide he is from shoulder to shoulder and how deep he is front to back at his thickest point?

Anybody who already has this item and is able to provide such information I would appreciate it. Also if anybody already has found a long term storage solution and can point me and anybody else to where to find it this would also be awesome.

I seem to remember the shoulder weapons can be aside from removed slid up and down. If attached how does this affect his height and width?

Just find out the con exclusive version's box size. He's assembled in that box, so it should give you the best idea of what you need to store him.

In which case, easiest thing to do is ask Matrixholder. He's got the SDCC one.

His dimensions are 28.5 inches with the gun set in the up position, 24.5 with the gun down with the arm cannons, 17.5 inches wide at the arm cannons, and about 8.5 inches deep. I put up 2 pictures to show scale, and how he's to wide for the detolf ikea shelves. Edited for numb scull spelling lol

I was just thinking Toysrus should put this pic on their website along with the other ones (like the one below). After all, it really is an adult toy.

Re: Metroplex Dimensions and Storage Concerns

He mightn ot fit IN a detolf, but he'd certainly fit ON TOP of one Or just find a wide shelf and make him the display for all your Cyberverse and Legend figures.
