Canada Post Tracking...Where are my Transformers?

I once had a figure shipped from the UK by boat in a trade. By six weeks I had given up on it arriving. Week 8 it randomly showed up.

Ya I've never had it that quick, but I have paid for the item on a Friday and it's arrived on Mon or Tues before. I suppose that's really only 1-2 business days.

Yup my menasor shipped out saturday and I got it on monday which was very fast! Didnt know too many collectors in Abby even existed.

I've been waiting for a Scoria shoulder replacement piece to arrive from Chimungmung since September 4 and couldn't figure out why the tracking number wasn't working. I called Canada Post today and they told me that any tracking numbers starting with the letter R are registered letters and are no longer trackable in their system because of the changes made by the United Postal Union.

I then asked him about a LZ....US tracking number I have from Toy Dojo and he couldn't explain why that one wasn't showing up. Apparently they're having intermittent problems with their online tracking services and I should call back every day, spend 22 minutes waiting to speak with someone and ask them to track it for me on their internal system.

So I think this new policy is affecting me, but not for TFs. Just ordered something from the US a couple weeks ago, shipped on 22 Sep, still not here. Not too unusual, but this note:

Package transferred to local post office/No further tracking information will be available

...is kinda odd. I've had some issues with UPS lately, having to pick stuff up at the depot and whatnot. But no online tracking of the package from them is something different. Is this what you guys are talking about?
