Got an Ebosa Billing email, WTF?

OK, as you know, these guys are one of our sponsors, and I signed up, since I was curious about what they sell, but I haven't found anything worthwhile to sell or buy. So the account's been inactive for a bit over a year.

All of a sudden, I've gotten 3 emails within the last hour for a $10 Billing invoice. I mean, wtf? Nowhere does it state that it costs money to sign up for an account and I have never bought or sell with them. The email also came from the legitimate admin from the website (unless it's a spam/spoof somehow). I've read the terms and conditions, help section, and so far, I've found nothing about any fees with accounts that haven't had any buying/selling activity.

I don't know if they're recently added the free $10 credit to new members, but I have a feeling they're trying to use that from existing members, and hence, the invoice I got.

Has anyone else gotten an email from them?

Here's the email:
Quote:
Hello (username),

You are receiving this invoice because our records indicate your account has an outstanding balance.

Your current account balance is: $10.00.

To make a payment on your account, visit our website and login to the billing section.

Currently, we accept the following forms of payment:

1. PayPal
2. Personal or Business Checks
3. Money Orders

If you have questions about your account, please feel free to contact us.

Best Regards,
ebosa
I don't know if this is legit or not, but I'm just going to cancel my account with this lousy website, I do not see why I should have to pay a fee for this ********

I can't find anything on the site either. Have you contacted the site yourself (not by responding to the email)? I would assume it is a mistake or someone trying to scam money.

I sent them an email earlier today, I don't expect a reply in the next few days. I'm just tempted to cancel my account with them, I'm very certain they have no rights to charge me for anything.
