Yeah I don't care about the date either, as long as I know I'm guaranteed one, which when it comes to TRU, it's a valid worry.

I think the Dec 31 ship date is a placeholder. Future Shop/Best Buy does that when they don't know the official release/stock date and you pre-order it.

Same here. Phoned them and got the same thing. If u have already placed the order, they can have the difference refund to you but only after it is shipped (I.e after they charge u). If u haven't order, phone them first with the code and they will do the rest.
