I'm not sure if this helps but I had that problem. Once I had done it and linked to my facebook, anytime after I logged out and went back in, I was no longer redirected to facebook, I just stayed on the shelflife page

Hey hcancrops. You're redirected to Facebook whenever you add a Have/Want/etc and indicate that you want to post it to Facebook.

For example, in the Have overlay, there's a section titled "Share" where you can choose whether or not to post your new Have to Facebook. If you don't want to post it, just choose "not this time", and you'll be golden.
