Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff
Hmm.... interesting. I've come across a flag noting a missing figure, but that figure doesn't appear in that line, it was delayed until the next series and a costco exclusive. Should I reject it or mark it as fixed?

Good question, Shepp. Flags should be marked as "fixed" if the flag's correct, and you've made the necessary change(s). If the flag's incorrect, it should be rejected.
In this case, since the flag refers to a figure in a different catalog, it should be rejected. However, you can go one step further and check if the figure's missing from the catalog that it's actually in. If it's missing, could you submit the flag on the correct catalog, please?

I wouldn't call it "Exclusives", because people might expect that to hold all sorts of exclusives.
You can see the packaging here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-me...e=UTF8&index=1
It doesn't identify any line or series, unless the 25th Anniversary of Transformers the Movie is considered a series - in which case he would be the only figure in that category.
"Miscellaneous", or "One-Figure Lines" or something similar might be a good title for these kinds of things.

On this Nick, is there some ability to "respond" to flags, so the people who submitted them know why they were rejected, if they were in fact rejected, and we could pass information along, such as where the correct item is, etc.?

Done, its in there. Honestly I can understand the confusion. When I started making the Armada catalog I originally thought the Costco exclusive was part of the series. I found out after a bit of research that it was released as part of the Energon line, so I never actually included it on ShelfLife.
Glad to see that whoever curates the Energon line did include it, since that is its proper place.
With that all being said, I'll set that flag as rejected.

We were considering this, but decided against it for a couple of reasons, including avoiding arguments.

Nope, not like that Nick. That Unicron should likely be in the Universe line. If not there, in a one off catalogue on his own. A Misc. catalogue would only muddy the waters...we've got plenty of subject experts on board...we'll figure out where it all goes or die trying, lol!

Reject! User assistance is awesome, but they aren't always on the ball.
