Hey guys, just arriving here from the year 1988

Hi guys,

Somehow in 1988 I stumbled into a real Delorean time machine, drove away and jumped forward a few years to join you guys in future for a few days. My parents somehow look younger, and they hooked me up to this thing called the interweb, and I can't sleep, feel nervous all the time and can't get enough interweb! So I thought I'd post a few questions on these amazing forums you have, I hope you don't mind...

Well judging by the number of super heroes, video games, comic and Collectibles the nerds won! This is good news because I'm a nerd. There are even TV shows for nerds? Holy crap all we had was a few crappy Superman movies, and Star Wars was old news...now somehow every super hero has a movie and Star Wars is the next big thing???

And from the super hero movies I watched, they are good! And yet they have already made 4 Transformer movies that look real but mostly suck? And they make money? And they are full of explosions and hot girls but they still suck? How is this possible?

All the transformers pose now? Holy crap they are like action figures! And if they are missing ankle tilt that's bad??? And you have these things called Masterpieces? radical...so cool dudes! Geez in my day as long as the arms could rotate we'd be happy...

Speaking of posability when I left they were just starting to make these Transformers called "action masters" and these crappy shampoo bottle figures were on clearance at Woolworths. Why the heck are most of the figures at the store non-transforming, less posable and much uglier than action masters and dont even include soap?

Lego is everywhere, and there's lego everything! I guess the "bumps" to interlock the bricks and chubby figures are now charming? Oh and I guess Lego is ok with other companies making Lego? And Star Wars and Transformers Lego! That's a dream come true!

Now where i came from we beat up and made fun of kids that had crappy knock off transformers...but low and behold all the knock off transformer look and feel way better than than the legit ones! The legit ones have crappier plastic? What changed?

More to the point, why do all the knock off Megatrons look way better than legit Megatrons?

The old boxes used to say collect them all...and I managed to get most from my aunts, uncles, parents, friends at birthdays.....but looking at these prices, they don't even seem real! How can you guys afford these things? Does money grow on the interweb?

How come all the toys are so huge? Where do people put all of them?

How come no one talks to each other and stare at their phones all day?

What's with all the traffic?

Why isn't anyone smoking?

Oh never mind...I'm going back to 1988...things just made more sense and I hear there's a Batman movie coming out next year and it's starring a nerd named Michael Keaton...is that what changed everything???...trouble is there's no garbage to put into Mr. fusion but hopefully I can find some somewhere...sigh...

Can I come with ya, it would give me a chance to relive the 90s and invest in some companies.

In 88, I wished it was 84. Why? Who cares, I was a dumb kid

You can put those shampoo bottle toys and KO toys as fuel.

I'd love to relive ReBoot's original airing in the 90s.

Not to mention invest in the initial dotcom bubble before it shattered, then pull those investments, put them in something stable, and jump forward to the future.

The last thing I want to do is Biff Tannen the past too much as that could break causality to an extent.
