I was buying two or three deluxe figures from an older female cashier at wal-mart around Christmas. She asked if I wanted a gift receipt and I said no. So then she asked if the figures were for me. I said yes (figured why lie?).

So then she remarked how I must be a collector, and asked if I was one of those people who kept them all sealed up. I shook my head and said "No, I open them up, the whole point is to transform them, and you can't do that when they're in the box."

That said, I have accepted the offer of gift receipts at TRU before, just to make them look like gifts...it's less awkward that way.
