The Toys that Never Were

catchy title no? x3

hey gang, Mal here. I been thinking (run for the hills xD); we've been given a large variety of toys and repaints and whatnot from Hasbro and Takara, but there are many toys that have fallen to the wayside/never got to production.

Just wanted to get your opinions and maybe get a good discussion going, but which toy/character do YOU think should have gotten past the prototype or conceptual sketch stage?

Answering my own question, it's this bad boy;

Classics Soundwave; wouldn't that have been awesome? xD

But which figure would you guys have wanted to see made?

Re: The Toys that Never Were

In theory they could still create that version of Soundwave, sure it's a pipe dream, but hey anything to keep optimism alive.

Personally I wish that Hasbro would have okayed the two exclusives that Men In Black wanted to create their second year of the Transformers Convention.

Sure we've gotten a Swoop version of the basic Terrorsaur mold by now, but I would have enjoyed seeing an Albino Maximal Alligator called Albion. (As soon as I get enough cash saved up I'm asking a customizer to make me the pair of them.)

This was the first figure that came to mind for me! This Soundwave just oozed all kinds of awesome!!! It was one I always wanted to see displayed amongst my other Classics Transformers and that I was greatly saddened to see fall into the reject pile at Hasbro. If ever there was a Decepticon I wanted to see in the front lines of my collection, this was the guy!
