The Return of iGear? New Renders of Masterpiece-Styled Generation 1 Ironhide, Runabou
It looks like old-school third-party manufacturer iGear may be back in business and looking to break back into the Masterpiece craze by releasing their versions of G1*Ironhide, along with*Battlechargers Runabout and Runamuck. So far, all that we have seen are renders of all three bots in robot and alternate mode accompanied by the message “iGear????” (iGear renewal begins!). These*figures*look to be far more in-line with the current Masterpiece-styling than iGear’s previous Masterpiece-styled releases from a few years ago. Might bite on Runabout and Runamuck depending on scale, price and final toy pics. It's cool that some lesser known characters are finally being addressed by 3P. Now where are the Omnibots?

Ugh, that Ironhide looks like crap. I'm glad I have my MP Ironhide. Those battlechargers look alright though.

Looks like crap? How so? Because of the pose? Everything looks spot on, waist area looks much better than on the official version.

Oh, I dunno, there's that GIANT GAP in the middle of his chest, dumpy proportions in his weird looking waist. I guess, the arms and legs appear cleaner and kibble free. But I like that stuff. Shows there was a van there. Official version looks much better.
