Thanks, I'm gonna try and track it down. Hopefully it still exists somewhere because I love that cover and hate the standard one, especially because of the French on it - no offense to the French.

Fortunately (for my wallet), I don't really plan to pull another haul like that in the near future; it just so happened that my OCD to complete my Super Robot Taisen collection and my brother's OCD to complete his Final Fantasy collection happened at the same time, so we made a crapload of purchases on Yahoo Auctions Japan during the same period. |
These things are rarely planned - they just happen.
Personally, I've been on a GameCube and Wii kick as of late...who knows how this will end up!
Here's some items I picked up recently:
A new Wii system. I bought this to replace my current system, which is failing. The video card, sadly, is dying. The reason it's dying is because I used to have the Standby Connection for the Internet on, and it resulted in massive overheating. It's a common problem, at least for the original release of the Wii. I'm not sure if it has since been corrected. Basically, I saw random dots on my screen when I was playing a Wii game. I put up with it for a while until an opportunity to get a new system presented itself to me. Plus the new one is black and complete with Wii Motion Plus! Oh yeah, and Sports Resort. Still haven't cracked the plastic on Sports Resort yet though...
Another new GameCube controller. I figured new controllers are hard to come by, so I should get it while I can. Has a much longer cord than the original controllers too. Which is nice.
And, a MISB copy of Baten Kaitos: Origins. Oh how I've waited for this. I ripped this puppy open right after I took the picture and inhaled the goodness of a brand new GC game. Yep.
