I wish I liked that CW Optimus mold. The proportions just don't work for me.

But your paint touch ups are definitely an improvement.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

The bot mode can get away with the short thighs but the gorilla long arms ruin it. I've seen extensions on the legs to make the arms look quite good. Eliminate the combiner head and you get a little space in the backpack for some thigh extensions.

I bought it for the awesome truck cab. Love that truck. Screams G1 enough but updated for classics.

I'm hoping Hasbro will make more primes in this type of cab.

Yeah, the vehicle mode is fine. The thighs on CW Optimus in his robot mode are short... and he has gorilla arms, AND a really tiny head...

...but I think that the real problem is actually due to his short torso. His crotch practically grows out of what would be his rib cage. That's why, even after the 3rd party upgrade kits that try to extend his legs, the mold still doesn't look quite right. It's all about his lack of a proper waist-to-hip transition.

Oh well. At least we can safely assume that we'll always get another Optimus Prime figure at some point down the line.

Nah. I display most of my TFs in bot mode simply because that's the way they take up the least space on the shelf. Sometimes I'll transform one, just for a change... and then realize there's no room to put them back, so I have to go back to bot mode again. :/

oh wow that pic didn't look that big on the phone.

will adjust it. sorry peeps.

anyway, I love prime's different alt modes more than his robot modes. the best part is that it's transforms into varying yet similar bots.

The majority is displayed in robot mode to save on space (with more figures standing on top of the trailers). I have just way too many of them.

Had a fun talk with a TRU (teenager) employee tonight. He claimed the Combiner Wars series only got released 3 weeks ago. He also said we are always 6 months behind the US when it comes to new releases That's when II told him we got Victorion first.

I won't be able to attend Comicon this year and I wanted to meet Peter Cullen for the first time. Now, I don't know when I would have the chance to meet him.
