Classics Prime Battle Axe WIP

Hey guys. Started this a couple days ago. Working on a energon axe for Classics Prime. I'm modeling it in 3D, then will have it prototyped by shapeways.com. I got about 40% of the modeling done so far. Megatron's morning star will be next.

Very nice so far. I was thinking of making one of these at one point in time, but it got stashed aside in favor of other projects.

My only suggestion is to make the blades slightly more square-ish. I find the very rounded blades clash with the blockier designs of Classics Prime.

Extra points if you can make it clip on or fit in one way or another in truck mode ala Deluxe Animated Prime (either one), semi-between the legs sticking out the back of the cab.

Very much like as well... My suggestion would be to have the blades more of an orangish color as the episode and Masterpiece toy... Otherwise though, very impressive.

I didn't think of that, but this is very true. One suggestion is to use just the outline shape - similiar to the Fansproject stickers for Powered Commander. Its the shape of the Autobot symbol however as there is is no interior design there's not much could be done about it. At least I don't think so...

Alternitively, come up with a unique insignia that fits the transformers theme, but that you can use in other projects as a sort of logo.

Looking at your 3D models a bit more closely (Nice bump mapping btw), It looks like the grey base has a handle to fit in the figures hand. If thats the case, is the rest of the axe shaft fixed in place or can it turn for different positioning?
