ROTF Legends Devastator Review

Always wanted to look at the ole Transformers Revenge of the Fallen legend (though I'd argue it is legion class), Devastator...it is utter trash though lol.

Trash? Actually the highlight of that size class.

I strongly disagree.
First he is supposed to look like this.
Second he matches better to the studio series
His mini me.
Its great. The whole reason I bought the studio series.

No..it's not...at all. Utter garbage. It's not even legend, it's legion and done poorly. One of the worst things I have ever had the displeasure of having to suffer through lol.

The look was fine. It fails in every possible way with functioning. It is a brick combined and the individuals are no better. You wasted your money.

Value is in the eye of the beholder. Alternatorfan didn't waste his money. This isn't objective.

I concur that it is a good toy and quite damn creative at such a small class size.

Thank you. And its true.
If people can't transform this there is something wrong with them.

I thought it was shockingly clever for such a small scale and he's cute as a grotesque bug.

I like the sides of legends devastator everything fits good
And consistant connection snugly.
I deemed it better than the first devastator we got that the trucks didn't transformer.
Then studio series came, around and its done now.

Re: ROTF Legends Devastator Review

I have the set in the G1 green and purple colours. That helps it quite a bit.

I agree that it's a bad combiner, with zero poseability, but it looks pretty scary looking (given that the on screen character literally sucked, and had giant wrecking balls that are nowhere present on any of the individual alt modes).

The individual bots are fun to fiddle around with. It's fun to go from mode to mode and back.

Fun figure to have, but, if I had not gotten it when ROTF was fresh, I wouldn't go splurge on it nowadays. It was a great deal back then, and a good alternative, when the huge Devastator was a crazy price, and only went from vehicle to combined mode. This one, at least had individual robot modes.
