Re: First Look at Studio Series 86 Deluxe Arcee ? T30 Retool Confirmed

Looks like the hips are covered up in car mode by those folding panels. So basically one of two robot parts that were visible in car mode, are now hidden (the other being the hood/chest).

The T30 never really was released in Canada, so this is a good update on that one. I ended up getting the T30 figure at TFcon 2017 for an insane price (which is now known as ToysRus retail price). I will not be upgrading.

I want to see the backpack reduced to the two pylons that were in the cartoon. Not even the Masterpiece does it properly, it still has a backpack. The only third party figure that comes close is Azalea. Hasbro could do something with the hood, make it split in three at the seam, crunch the hood into the back, and make the fenders be those shoulder pylons. That's my dream Arcee figure.

Energon Arcee was an excellent toy! Animated Arcee was fucking outstanding, and frankly, still might be my favorite Arcee toy.

Not sure you're on about.

You do realize that they aren't the same figure, right? This is the T30 mold, not Earthrise Arcee.

Energon Arcee was good for the time, and great in cycle mode.

Prime Arcee, like most of the early stuff was great.

Animated Arcee was indeed a great toy.

And I'll throw in Cyberverse Arcee as another great toy, especially considering the cheap plastic used.

The Authentics Arcee is smaller than a Deluxe, though. If it's like other Authentics it'll be about the size of a RotF Scout figure. That's actually a plus for me, though, since it means it'll fit well alongside my various Deluxe-sized Optimuses and Megatrons (which they made a hell of a lot of throughout the early years of Generations.)

Got a Takara Legends Arcee, thought that would be it
She's cool, and my default Arcee in the display

Picked up Earthrise only because I found wave 2 during the $9 clearance sale for deluxes (that's "sure, give it a swing" prices right there)
It's kind of as awful as everyone says, glad I didn't pay more for it

Don't know how to feel about this? Arg
It SEEMS like a skip but I just don't know man

Animated did almost everything right from aesthetics to transformation. IMHO, best designed Arcee, period.

This new one, meh. Maybe on deep discount. I know I'm in the minority, but I actually really like the ER Arcee. Maybe it's just that parts-forming doesn't bother me.

Animated Arcee was good when u put her with other animated figures, but no way I can put it with my normal CHUG figures, it just too different.

Anyone, or any toy, can fit with any line thanks to the multiverse.
