Crew of the Lost Light, best representations?

So we all love MTME right? Most of the crew, the main one, is mostly B-listers who don't have a lot of toys (though strangely enough Swerve got plenty, despite none really looking like him), but what do you think is the best plastic representation for these guys? Say if you were to do a Lost Light shelf?

Now the crew of the Lost Light is pretty large but I'm mostly talking about the important ones. His Spotlight made me appreciate Trailcutter but he's not essential, neither is say, Hoist, Ambulon or Blaster (though both Trailcutter and Blaster have pretty neat toys that I might pick up).

The toy doesn't have to match the IDW esthetics either, it's just gotta be a good toy that looks good on a shelf. It doesn't even have to be the right character if it's close enough.

Here's the ones I'd consider important:

Brainstorm
Chromedome
Cyclonus
Drift
Ratchet
Red Alert
Rewind
Rodimus Prime
Rung
Skids
Swerve
Tailgate
Ultra Magnus
Whirl

Potentially:

First Aid
Fortress Maximus
Pipes

Just so you know I'm not gonna get a friggin' G1 Fortress Maximus, unless it's the Kabaya one and even there... and we know Rung is probably never getting toy... unless the third party guys get to it.

I made a Chromedome out of a FE Bumblebee and while it's not quite the right style i'm satisfied enough.

I have Generations Drift so there's that. Cyclonus and Rodimus is easy enough if I can get that Battle in Space two pack I've foolishly passed on before. Red Alert shouldn't be hard to find.

I got iGear's Veer coming in the mail so that covers Swerve.

Ultra Magnus... I'm not hunting down a City Commander, forget about it. So the choice is really down to either the small FOC guy or the Beast Hunter Voyager class guy.

Ratchet I got the PRID toy and it's got the 'old doctor' vibe well enough for me. Plus I can't read ratchet without hearing the Prime version in my head.

Rewind has the FOC data disk and Whirl is coming out as part of the Ruination set.

That leaves Brainstorm, Skids, and Tailgate.

With potentially addition of a First Aid and Pipes.

Re: Crew of the Lost Light, best representations?

Here is a quick list

Brainstorm = 3rd party figure coming, if not then G1 toy
Chromedome = Fanproject's Function-X1
Cyclonus = Battle In Space 2-pack Cyclonus
Drift = Really...? =P (Generations Drift)
Ratchet = Classics Ratchet
Red Alert = Henkei Red Alert
Rewind = G1 Rewind (The disc ones don't do it)
Rodimus Prime = Henkei Rodimus
Rung = Action Master Rad
Skids = Binaltech Skids
Swerve = Encore Swerve (New paint deco)
Tailgate = Encore Tailgate (New paint deco)
Ultra Magnus = City Commander
Whirl = G1 Whirl

The rest

First Aid = G1 First Aid
Fortress Maximus = Kabaya Fort Max
Pipes = Encore Pipes

Headrobots Stronghold would probably a great fit for a Fort Max. Hell, it'd be even more thematically appropriate than a straight G1 Fort Max (reissue, Kabaya, KOs, etc.) since IDW Fort Max apparently has a land vehicle alt mode.

Skids: DOTM Disney exclusive Evac
Rung: ROTF scout Deadlift
Tailgate: TFP CV Legion Tailgate
First Aid: Cybertron Red Alert
Pipes: iGear Pipes

Oops sorry buddy, I wasn't trying to replace your ideas, I just hit the "quote" button by accident :P

Also, to add to the list, if you squint Fortress Maximus = Cybertron Metroplex.

Is there a reason why Leader Jetfire is in there?
