I know they probably won't be able to make it this year with the timing but TF CON should invite the 404's to its convention. These are a hilarious bunch of improv comedians and enjoy coming to conventions! I see their shows at Anime North all the time. Late night ones are the best!

Even though there's still time for more guests to be announced, this year feels kind of sparse and lackluster compared to last year. : /

I'm hoping we can get Casey Coller again at the artist alley.

There isn't much time. Like 2 weeks. But I agree. Compared to previous years I've attended, it does seem quite lackluster. Even in the Artist department. I assume because TFCON is so early this year, it runs too close to Botcon.

Perhaps TFCon Chicago also has something to do with it?

I think this will be the first TFCon I'll not get a weekend pass for.

I would assume various elements are the reason why.
Botcon being so close, being prime convention season, the movie, and TFCON Chicago. I could see Chicago getting big guests because it's during a slow down of conventions. October is pretty past the convention season so more guests will have availability. For all we know someone might not been in the quick ball to grab guests before someone else did or they became unavailable.

I think last year had the best roaster of guests both artists and non artists. And normally the year after the guests get bigger, better, not lesser. It could be a budget stretch due to them housing 2 cons in the same year.

That's fine, I only have Stone to see then. o-o
