classics turbomaster boss

number 3 in a set of 4 random bots for a fellow member.
mods done=

stock spoiler removed and in it's place comes another courtesy of classics mirage.

alt mode hood middle sections removed and shaved.

new alt mode front lower spoiler sections.

all stock "blurr" painted colors stripped/removed.

stock head severely ground down/resculpted and a new battlemask made fron a credit card chunk was added.

custom one off "turbomaster" cannon/engine made of a mish-mash of odds and sods like armada minicon "drillbit",a giant hotwheels wheel, engine parts from a 1/24 scale model engine, etc.
it attaches to him in alt mode by way of slotted tab/hole.the new tab simply plugs into the stock hole in the upper section of his chest/windshield base.

with the engine/bfg removed.the white tab is what plugs into the slot at the base of his windshield.

Re: classics turbomaster boss

normal bot mode with his legs the way they were designed as either drift or blurr.

for a more g1 accurate version, simply pop off his legs at the balljointed hips and swap them around.
he does still have knee articulation this way, albiet his knees are now technically just above his ankles.
i made sure to paint this side up in detail too so that the commissioner has the option of displaying him in either bot mode leg configuration.

sniper style

exposing some of his built in/hidden weaponry

they way his reversed knees look.

Great work. I love that leg swapping to give the mold a fresh look.

Re: classics turbomaster boss

I always thought this mold would work as Boss. Excellent work as always, Chans. So how long before you make Scorch out of Generations Trailbreaker to go with him?

thanks, and i think i may actually try to track down the botcon version repaint from the classics hound mold.i still regret passing it up a few years back when a buddy at tfcon offered it to me for a good price(same year i snagged doublepunch/cindersaur/rapido/etc)
