Re: The 2011 Canadian Collectible Toy Expo Announced

If anyone is going to this expo & is willing to nab me something I'd totally appreciate it! Looking for the following...

G1 Victory Leo complete
G1 Micromaster Skytalker complete
G1 Galaxy Shuttle

O as for the condition of the bots... don't like any loose parts/joints, stress marks, discoloration or rust.... if possible but if the price is right & I'm made aware of the defects I'll consider & box is not required as long as complete, missing missles n' projectiles is ok.

It's alot to ask I know but I'd go myself but wifey won't let me If not no worries thought I'd try right?

Hmmmm is this show usually worth going too? I imagine the prices will be very similar to TFCon?

Very worth going to.

Many of the same dealers that attend TFcon will be at this event.

I have found the prices are usually better on most items, and dealers are more flexible when it comes prices. Also, this even tends to much much less hectic than TFcon, but with just as many dealers.

The transformers selection has always been excellent and if you collect other lines there is a HUGE selection of both modern and vintage toys.

Case in point, last year I picked up a complete, mint (with tech specs) Squaktalk and Beastbox for $35.

The dealer room's about the same as TFcon's (maybe larger?). Still a chunk load of TF dealers there. It's worth the drive to Burlington.

You get to chill/catch up with other fellow members and leisurely shop around/chat with the dealers. There is a rush and it can get hectic, but overall, it's like TFcon/80s Expo but more relaxed.
