So, is this the market price for a MLC or MIB figure?

I paid $200 recently for a MIB Takara version.

Re: Help needed in pricing my friends Masterpiece Grimlock

I kicked myself for a very long time for not picking up MP Grimlock when he was out. I saw him on clearance at TRU for $40, but was so broke at the time that I had to pass.

Finally found one (maybe 8 months ago) for a very reasonable $90 and bit the bullet, but that was probably a steal. As stated, he's sold for as much as $200 on ebay.

Anyone willing to sell thier only MP Grimlock, whether quitting collecting or not, must be absolutely crazy.

Agreed unless they're in a situation like this:

Funny I don't recall being crazy 2 weeks ago when I sold mine. Desparation can make for strange bedfellows, whatever that actually means.

Thanks for the info guys, Much appreciated. I don't know if he'll decide to sell it or not, but like wervenom speculated, he's in a bad spot at the moment.

No speculation, I was in the bad spot 2 weeks ago and had to give up my best masterpiece items. Bad part is how much it will cost me to reaquire them over the long run. Hopefully he can recover as I am trying to or quicker. Hope all works out for him

Re: Help needed in pricing my friends Masterpiece Grimlock

When I was looking for a MP Grimlock a few months ago, the prices were about 80-150 before shipping. That was until, I got one off of someone who was done collecting for only 40. So honestly, it seems to vary.
