Yeah that one's tough to believe will pan out as MP SS just came out so the person would've had to have bought it within the last week or so and if their memory slipped that they payed $50 that quickly then...
Maybe it's the g1 repaint of movie SS?

I was so tempted to buy one off ebay but I decided to wait for the Takara version.

Maybe it's the original MP-03? Some people may think that it's value is lost now that a proper G1 paint-scheme is released.?.

Re: Where'd you get MP Starscream & how much?
Actually, for those who have MP-03, it may be worth the upgrade. I have both MP-03 and MP-06, and Skywarp definitely feels a lot sturdier and I think the transformation's been updated.
For instance, for some reason I couldn't extend out the cockpit area to tuck "through" Starscream's chest into his back, whereas with Skywarp I could. I'm guessing for Skywarp they changed things a bit... but most noticeably, there is a noticeable quality difference.
With Starscream, pieces were popping off left and right as I was transforming him (he was fresh from the box). The flaps snapped off, and little pieces came off here and there.
It was very different with Skywarp.. I had 3 grown men working on him for over 30 minutes, and he held up perfectly. We bitch slapped the hell outta him and not a single piece came loose.
I'm guessing US Starscream is in the same mold as Skywarp (I'd be surprised if they stuck with MP-03's mold).... and I'm tempted to pick him up just because I know he'll be as durable as Skywarp. And for $50 (if you can find him), it's a frickin' steal!
Just my two cents!

Re: Where'd you get MP Starscream & how much?
Although I haven't gotten one yet, I came across this site while searching for it on Google: Toys Online HK
They're selling it for $62 US, but they only ship by Fedex (which comes with brokerage charges)...I don't know if it'll be worth it over ebay prices, probably not though...
The site's sorta odd in the way that it has almost the exact same layout as Xybertoys, maybe they just copied their website coding, or vice-versa.
