I would be honored to be the project leader! I love the idea of a SickKids Defensor. I think we should do a Classics style kinda like F_R's Defensor. I was going to wait a month or so but Im making a Devastator Ptitvite style and I have extra parts to make it happen.
Let me know what you guys think aboot this idea. One more idea, with all the Kitbashers that want in, I think we should make a SickKids Superion too!
Ill wait a few more days for anyone else who wants in, and we can all work on a way to get some sort of combination going. My email address is unbreakablecoadx@hotmail.com and I have MSN Messenger.
Thanks again guys, Im really proud of how we can all pool together for a great cause!

If one person was willing to do all the mods of Combined mode that would work out best.
2 combiners would be alot of work for one person

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!
This is a great idea guys. Although I am not technically a Canadian, I still support the board and great ideas like this. That being said, if you need anything, let me know.
We just finished a successful charity auction via proCustomizers.com and I know the ropes, so to speak. You also have more than my blessing if you want to run with the Defensor idea. Like Venska said, you HAVE to have a project leader. Luckily for RFTK, we only have a few minor loose ends to tie and we'll get that auction off the ground (after a year of tardiness)

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!
So I've been thinking about this pretty much all day and had a few thoughts...
Most people seem to be on board for the Defensor idea and I think we could make it work with a bit of planning ahead...
Also, I seriously think we should try for a Animated style Defensor for two reasons: there haven't been many Animated combiners done up to the best of my knowledge so it would stand out from the crowd. And secondly, since the proceeds are going towards a childrens charity - why not use the series most targeted to children?
Just my thinking anyways... Classics would be a bit easier, and there's a lot more molds to choose from... But I just think an Animated one would be awesome...

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!
Im looking at my Animated shelf and I think Soundwave would make a good First Aid I think Animated would be a hard toy line to try and use Its a limited mold line..... I dunno just my 2 cents
CJ
EDIT - It just hit me, THIS COULD WORK! lol By looking at the toys and holding them it might work Venksta, just for fun, could you sketch up some Animated Protectobots heads?

dammit!!! i actually have a animated defensor project lined up for tfcon2010(why do i keep picking projects that others seem to pick later on??? )
i haven't actually started any serious mods yet but this is the recipe i have so far for the bots being used.... - hotspot= tonka rescue roy
- blades= tonka rescue helicopter(orange and white right now....)
- first aid= animated deluxe ratchet
- groove=animated prowl(non samurai version)
- streetwise=animated lockdown(maybe a touch too tall in height) or animated jazz(first version=only need to strip stripes off, then there's less white to paint)
as usual,i would recommend struxx or xevos or ratcheting bionicle joints to combine it all.
