Yep. When I got my MP Soundwave price adjusted. I asked the girl there about the coupon. She took a look at and said there wasn't anything on that said you couldn't use it with the sale. So I end up getting my MP Soundwave for HALF PRICE!

Lucky you or stupid cs that can't read the coupon exemption details which can only be used on regular priced Hasbro products. Where did you find this cs? I would like to give it a shot as well...

Why would you be pissed if it didn't work?

I used it as well, if it didn't work I would not have been "pissed" at all. In essence you are LUCKY to have received the additional discount.

no no i was more annoyed when i typed it cus i went all the way there and not able to get what i aimed for

so basically i went to the cashier and presented the coupon, he said sorry it doesnt apply on sale items - i then began explaining that i know that someone used it at a different tru and it worked - he said no - only regular items.. then i asked him what was on regular items... he then flinched - so i asked for a manager - this guy comes and i explained what i want to purchase with this coupon - he said that wow he hasnt seen this coupon in a while and that it only applies to regular items ...same story we talked about it for a bit then he said sorry then walked away... so i was a bit annoyed then but i want to satisfy my curiousity - went to dufferin mall... super easy transaction sale with coupon! the lady and i even talked for a bit about work and the weather so now im happy 1 coupon down 3 more to use - in ottawa tomorrow till thurs XD

Tbh if the "geniuses" that TRU has at their head office wanted the coupon to not be applicable, they can have the coupon code disabled for scanning. I've had it happen several times where it either didn't scan or prompted an error.
