War For Cybertron Figures

I've got a general question about the upcoming War For Cybertron figures. Since they are for a video game and not something more mainstream like the movie or a TV series are they going to be released at general retail (Walmart, TRU, etc) or they going to be specialty figures mainly available online and through specialty stores?

I really hope they make a WFC Jazz.

They'll be mass released along with the other Generations figures.

Oddly enough, I don't think there was anything on the packaging that I've seen that specifically ties them to WFC at all....

They would be foolish not to release them in regular retail stores. I wasn't aware video games were not mainstream, would have thought they were by now.

I've personally never seen video game characters like Sonic the Hedgehog or Resident Evil characters at the mainstream retail outlets. That's what I was referring to.

If the WFC characters are going to be packaged along with the other lines that's a good enough answer for me. The hard part is going to be finding the ones everyone wants. Restocking (at least here in BC) seems to be not very frequent lately.

They got Sinic and RE figures at TRU here...but ya this will be mass released but I think we're only getting the four of Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Soundwave.

In the words of the philosopher Jagger, you can't always get what you want.

You're apparently never set foot into a Toys R Us as they even have some SF4 figures, heck even Zellars has some Halo merchandise. Since they are going to be apart of the Generations line I can not see them not releasing them to Walmart, Zellers and the rest.
