What was the other 3rd party that was making a Jet/Skyfire and how far along are they on that project?

My advice, don't buy it, Hasbro/Takara will eventually make every G1 character in MP scale.

Well if Fan Toys are making a Jetfire, I'm sure that one will be just as awesome as Scoria is! Maybe I'll wait and save some money.

Are there any pics of the FT version as of yet, or just the dark outline pic?

They are making it. It's been put on the back burner like FT Blaster until the Dinobots are done, or almost done. No new pics.

At the pace FT is releasing its toys, Skyfire cannot be expected until at least 2016... And things may be happening in the meantime (like, Takara doing one). Not too sure we can't count on FT yet.

Pls note that FT will NOT be doing a Jetfire, ONLY a Skyfire, after the dinos, and before their Blaster. They will only do figures from the cartoon, so that unfortunately probably means no Paddles....

Be patient and wait for FansToys. I was like you not too long ago - interested but hesitant before people got these in hand. Now that we've gotten some feedback (and not a word from the designer as far as replacing parts, customer service, etc.), I won't touch this with a ten foot pole.

Yeah that is exactly how I felt/feel about this too. I'm in for Hasbro's Leader Class Jetfire and FT's Skyfire whenever they get to it.
