Re: TFcon 2013 Charity Project (Group B): Enter the Vehicons!

Well Thrust is finished painted, here are the shots, took them outside, cause I'm to lazy to make a light box, unfortunately there were no clouds to diffuse the light.

Got a bunch more painting done on Tankor, myself; not much to show at present sadly.

Though he WILL have chrome silver guns. I'm debating whether or not I want to pull a Metroplex with him and chrome silver his thighs - right now I've limited its use to the turret gun, the rifles, and the hands.

(Yes, chromey hands. Which look amazing.)

And HOLY CRAP THAT THRUST. I posted right when that post showed up..... AMAZING INDEED. The concept was great and the execution is perfect.

That said, for logistics stuff.... does everyone have a way of getting their customs to TFcon, either in person or via a contact?

Also, re: faction symbols, who still needs some? (I know Mumps got a bunch, anyway; getting mine off him at some point.)

Re: TFcon 2013 Charity Project (Group B): Enter the Vehicons!

Can't wait to see how that guy turns out.

I know I'm definitely gonna end up bringing in a second opinion at TFcon when it comes to splitting this into a couple of subgroups for the auction - the LAST thing I want to do is subconsciously be expedient for my own benefit given I'm gonna be bidding on these myself.

And that said, here's my current WIP on Tankor - need to do stuff on the upper legs/sides of the legs, some detailing on the tank threads, and then do added details all over. (Given he has green lights on parts of his body in BM, I may do some green highlights here and there; not sure yet.)

Re: TFcon 2013 Charity Project (Group B): Enter the Vehicons!

Thanks, Ultra, Stapler and PP. I think our group will lay waste to the Predaking

Stapler, the more I look at your pics the more I love it. I like how your paint is thinner on all the panel line edges, really makes them stand out.

GENERAL you tankor is huge , that vehicle mode is just aaaawesome, with a capital "A", giving me goose bumps.
That cockpit is killer too, plus 3 guns , i'm suffering from gun envy right now.

What mold did you use? I'm drawing a blank.

Anyways guys can't wait to see all these in person, this has been a great project and thread, hats of to General for coming up with it.
