Re: preserving signed material
I agree with Robimus. You probably don't need to do anything beyond store it in a safe place.
But if you really want something, goto a comic book store and ask if they have any magazine bags that will fit that size book. If you want the best bag, ask for mylars. If memory serves, it's the material that the library of congress uses to store their documents. One thing though, I'm not sure if they sell the bags individually. Checking amazon, a pack of 24 cost like $28.
IMHO anything beyond this is overkill. I have signed comic books that are only bagged and boarded and they've been fine for over 30 years. And with a new comics, they're printed on paper that's designed to last. It's not like the old days when they were printed on news print. I recently found an 20yr old unbagged comic that got shuffled into a corner that look like it just came off the press because it hasn't been handled in forever.
And, if you care about retaining value, I doubt that signed Drift is going to be worth anything beyond what you paid for it. But one thing for sure, don't laminate it. That's equivalent to covering it with packing tape. If I remember right, over time the chemicals in the laminate may turn the paper yellow.
