Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!

I'd probably say we'd just put them up on eBay and advertise that all proceeds go to Sick Kids....I'm sure some people will dig deep for good customs and a good cause

and I say it should maybe be a G1-Toronto theme?

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!

Just an advice, from someone who worked on the RFTK project. Someone has to take charge and make sure those involved will get their work done on time, or someone else can come in and help. This was a major issue on RFTK. There wasn't really anyone who took the bull by the horn and made sure it was going to be done on time. The project was just left to everyone to get it done on their own time, and its still not done yet!

So Cliffjumper, if your passionate about this idea, I suggest you take charge of it, and keep in contact with everyone directly, over PM, as well as updates in a thread, for those who join up, and basically organize the project so it will get done.

I might be interested in participating. Spent many a years at Sick kids (born with congenital heart issues) so wouldn't mind giving a bit back.

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!

I think it would be best to may be keep it to a Classics/Uni or Animated theme.
Movie line toys are very hard to work with.
I really like the idea of a paramedic based set.
I've got a few friends that I could talk to about customs decals for the project.

I think alot of us have learned from the mess that was (and still is) RFTK's.
I think most of us are better then that, but your right a "Project Leader" is most needed.

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!

I also nominate Cliffjumper69 as the project leader (your idea dude - your responsiblity)

I vote for a Classic/Universe or Animated set as well in rescue colours... I would like to see the Protectobots as well, but agree it would difficult to coordinate and make them combine...

I think we should get a list together of
a) Which bots we want to make
b) Who is willing to give they're time and effort to make them
c) Who is making which bot.

If we can auction it off at TFCon then that would be awesome...

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!

Well I got some bad news tonight, I lost my job, BUT when I signed on right now and read everyone support and ideas I have a big smile on my face.

I would be honored to be the project leader! I love the idea of a SickKids Defensor. I think we should do a Classics style kinda like F_R's Defensor. I was going to wait a month or so but Im making a Devastator Ptitvite style and I have extra parts to make it happen.

Let me know what you guys think aboot this idea. One more idea, with all the Kitbashers that want in, I think we should make a SickKids Superion too!

Ill wait a few more days for anyone else who wants in, and we can all work on a way to get some sort of combination going. My email address is unbreakablecoadx@hotmail.com and I have MSN Messenger.

Thanks again guys, Im really proud of how we can all pool together for a great cause!

Andrew
