Re: I am sick of the “hunt”...

I still prefer hunting in person just to make sure the robot modes QC is good enough.

Yes, but most online shops have good exchange policy, even oversea ones. It is a hassle, yes, as I have done it a couple of times, but you are looked after.

Re: I am sick of the “hunt”...

I just preordered a Siege Refleckors set at A3U, Siege Jetfire at Amazon Canada (on sale) and Siege Omega at TRU (with a discount code). These are my most wanted anyway so I will guarantee to have them. Screw the hunt...

Re: I am sick of the “hunt”...

When I was still collecting I ended up going the same route. I would still check in on stores from time to time if I was already going there, but it was so much easier to simply order what I wanted from BBTS and wait for it to arrive.

It's ironic that when I was looking for certain figures before, I wouldn't see them, but now that I don't buy them anymore, the Walmart here seems to get the new stuff at a decent pace.

Re: I am sick of the “hunt”...

I gave up being a hunter way back with the classics line..I found myself spending most of my day off running all over town checking the toy departments in several stores...some days I managed to capture the one I was looking for...other days the hunt turned up nothing...I began to order from a few different online stores and it made my collecting so much easier...the mail was delivered to my post office and I knew exactly what was in the box..

What sucks is when they no longer have the product in stock. So sure you get your money back and the return is smooth, but then you dont have the toy and have to resort to the hunt again.
