Re: G1/Generations Devastator (pic heavy)

UPDATE: MARCH 1ST, 2012

Scavenger LIVES! Just so you know, that waist is from Generations Warpath , I had to gently cut off the front detail from Warpath's waist, and then graft it onto his butt (essentially). So yes, Scavenger has an ass for a crotch. Make your Spaceballs jokes here.

UPDATE: MARCH 3RD, 2012

I've just been busy haven't I? Since I was given today off work, I had the chance to spend a little more time working on Devastator than usual, and I put that towards starting on Scrapper, as well as giving Mixmaster a little more attention.

All that has been done to him is replaced the thigh joint & waist sections with that of Deluxe classics Prime, and finished one leg and foot.

As for Mixmaster, I've shortened the mixing drum so I can take Otis' suggestion and make him a little less tall

Re: G1/Generations Devastator (pic heavy)

UPDATE: APRIL 6TH, 2012

So gang, Devastator has had a little bit of work done to him since last we spoke...mostly he now has arms.

And yes, the arms and legs are from Unicron. But with a twist! I'm modifying the parts just enough that it isn't a straight repaint. Loophole GET!

I've also started on Devastator's rifle. I may need to rework it a bit, but it's a good start.

"I think I combined him wrong :/"

eh, I think the gun's still too small; I have a few plans to make it bigger and badder.

UPDATE: APRIL 8, 2012

One word; GUN!

Also arm detail, but you aren't interested in that. You want to see GUN!

Alright, I'll say what I did. Obviously, the gun. but I also managed to make a trigger and handle for the gun, and am using a super magnet to let it stay held in Devy's hand. I've also done a bit of arm detail that homages the G1 toy.

Looking good, Mal.
Just remember what I told you at TFCon telling you, work on your finishing & I'm sure it will turn out just fine.
