I haven't bought anything at retail for close to a year, like Protoman, I pick up a case from my local comic book store and each deluxe figure averages to $15. Cheaper than retail and guarantee to get it. And I share the rest with friends.

Now I want those iGear vans...come on Zac...make up your mind...

I got my Dark Energon Deluxes today Man Knockout is a TINY car! He's barely bigger than my Cybertron Swerve and that guy's a scout! Good thing robot mode looks much bigger. The G2 colours are great, but the arm assembly makes using the elbow completely impossible

The whole Beast Hunters Sub-line has nothing of interest either. I need another Tfcon to get hyped over stuff.

Yeah, I considered getting a case from BBTS to get most of it but... meh I'm not really thrilled. The lack of distribution really cooled my enthusiasm for the line. I'm much more excited for new Beast Saga stuff and the upcoming Mobine release.

Though I gotta admit, getting Dark Energon Deluxes was way cool, and I'm still excited about my preordered Takara Wildrider and Jet Vehicon General. I also got Dead End coming from a friend in the US. Maybe if we get a decent retail prescence of Beast Hunter stuff I might get tempted by some more Beast guys but we'll see.

I never buy for the line, just for the individual toys if they look good, or I have kitbashing ideas for them. I wasn't super excited about Prime, but I like them well enough. I still want some of those later figures... Kup, Magnus, Thundertron maybe... and I have to say, I'm a bit bummed that Asia gets THREE releases for the Breakdown mold, and we don't even get one... wtf?

Beast Hunters is mostly a waste of time for me. There is something cool about the new Optimus voyager, in a dopey kind of way, but there's not much of interest until the Smokescreen and Deluxe Bulkhead in Roadbuster colours comes out in the later wave. As for the transforming dragons, no interest.

Bring on the Generations stuff!
