Honestly, I was being sarcastic. I actually do own a webOS device, but I'm really waiting for the folks over at cyanogen to get ICS running on it. I purchased it during the firesale last year without much hope of there being much actual development for it. I mainly brought it up because I fully suspect the Playbook to have a similar fate to the Touchpad, they've already started popping up as cheap as $150 recently.

Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff

Hey all,

So after some intense coding action we've now added fully functional filtering and sorting to all ShelfLife catalogues and categories.

These menus are fully dynamic and borrow values from the attributes of their relevant catalogues.

As an example you can now go to Action Figures and filter by say "Brand", then select FansProject and browse the site in a whole new way.

You can also Filter by Item attributes mixed in with Product attributes, which is pretty sick since it means you can filter by Cobra Commander or Optimus Prime and bring up every version of the character on the site.

Take it all for a spin and let us know what you think...it was lightning fast during testing today...should be fun!

Now on to a revised Mega Menu for better performance on smaller screens, and then the Marketplace!

James

Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff

I had some trouble getting logged in; I kept getting the error panda posted. After a few tries it finally took but I got this message:

When that happens I can't use the "Browse Catalogs" drop-down because once my mouse pointer hits the red bar, it minimizes. I can just refresh the page, but it's an awkwardly placed error message.

Edit: Ok, so apparently imageshack thinks I'm a terrorist or something. Well I got a red error message bar that said "You are already logged in" that got in the way of using the Browse Catalogs drop-down.

Hey juxtapose519. Sorry for the frustration. The login error should be fixed now. Our hosting provider was having a bit of trouble for a few minutes.

We'll also fix that CSS bug that you mentioned, where the Browse Catalogs menu can't be navigated if the red error bar is visible.

Yeah. Webos was killed along with everything but printers when hp announced "were only doing printers now". Course now that CEO has resigned, and his replacement is expected to back-pedal and reverse that decree as it made no sense given what hp paid out to acquire palm just to own webos.

Re: ShelfLife Beta Test Announcement: Very Exciting Stuff

I've found that the error page that pandaprime was referencing comes up on pretty much every Starscream toy's page.
