I actually saw this set in Walmart the other day for a similar price. Around 35 to 40 bucks, I think. I was on the displays where they had all the Black Friday dvd sets. I think they still have those out, too.

Guys, slightly off topic: I'm looking for the equivalent set of DVDs for the GI JOE cartoon from the 80s. There seems to be some confusion with the labels for the first series, second series...I'm looking for the the ones that ran around the same time as TF cartoons. Any tips? Thanks.

Just like TFs, there was the pre-movie, and post-movie....and just like TFs, the post-movie changed studios and the series was not as good.

Pre-movie...same style as G1 season 1 and 2.

Post-movie...new style, new voice actors.

Yes, I was thinking the first series for sure, but when I saw the Series 2 I saw Sgt Slaughter stuff. I don't think I was watching the show at that point...might not be worth getting, but I was a fan of Serpentor. Is that Series 2 all the episodes in one package? I just wanna do one stop shopping.

I noticed how collectible the Series 1 'ammo box' DVD set has become, unless Amazon is jacking it up as usual. That thing was way too huge for my shelf, so I was waiting for more convenient packaging. But the innards are really cool; shoulda pulled the trigger on that set.

All the good stuff is Series 1, Season 1 and 2.

Serpentor and Sgt Slaughter is introduced in Series 1, Season 2.
