I've been told multiple times that it doesn't matter if the items are in stock or not, they are still supposed to price adjust for you within the adjustment period. This is what TRU people have told me. I'm not surprised though that when you actually try it they change their tune.

Oh nice, I had not seen the online request form. That would make things even easier.

I'm on the phone right now and the CSR is going to pricematch G2 Menasor to the flyer with little hassle.

So if you are getting hassle over Combaticons or any other TF "no longer on the site" be clear, polite, and explain that the flyer explicitly states "25% off all TFs except Platinum, Masterpiece, and Clearance." I barely even needed to say that. She said well I can't find it on the site, so I'll just need a few minutes to confirm the price adjustment.

Being a pre-order I haven't been charged yet. CSR: TRU will charge the full amount to my MC when the item ships, then refund the price adjustment amount.

Sounds like most people have gotten their Combaticons for the sale price but if you were told no, call back, or try this online request form...
