What's the Food Situation?
In the hotel where TFcon is being hosted, are there places to eat? Or, are there any food vendors on location.
Or should I brown bag my lunch?

Re: What's the Food Situation?
Across the street is a Harvey's, Tim Hortons, Subway, and some Chinese food places. If you go south there's a Mount St. Louis's and a Perkins (if I'm not mistaken) and north there are even more places. Outback steak house, Tuckers marketplace, Le Beouftech (spelling? it's a steak place), and a little more north there's a keg, a strip club, and one of my personal favourite places to eat, the Lone Star

There's also a sushi place a block away, and a french, chinese and japanese restaurant built into the hotel, but those are quite expensive.

Directly across the road is your best bet.

Re: What's the Food Situation?
Ya there's a bunch of food places directed across the street, as I recall there's at least a Harvey's, Tim Hortons, and a Swiss Chalet over there.

Oh, be prepared! It's like being a kid in a candy store and you just got your allowance! Your neck will be sore though from rubber necking!

I'm ready for it. I just hope I don't break the bank in the process.

Re: What's the Food Situation?
Since my GF lives 5 min away, I know the area well. As other's have said across the street there is a Harvey's, Subway, Swiss Chalet, Tim Horten's and a Variety Store. A little bit to the east there is a Country Style and Gino's Pizza. To the west you have your more expensive restaurants like Outback and The Keg (although I hear they had an issue recently with, well, I don't eat there anymore). There's also a Shell right beside the hotel for those of you who want a late night snack.
If anyone else has questions about the area feel free to ask.

Re: What's the Food Situation?
Come to the pizza party on Friday night. It is going to be awesome. Cool people, food more or less the same price as going across the road (no inflated-price banquets here!).
