when and where to sign up for panels?

i wish to host some panels for the next year's TFcon.

where and when to sign up for these?

Also, i misspell the title. it suppose to say "when and where to sign up for panels?"
can a mod please fix that? thanks.

You can't just sign up. Imagine if anyone was just allowed to host a panel. That's like hiring news anchors randomly. But here's what you can do: You can come up with some really insightful questions to ask the guests. Staff is always looking to see who the bright minds are, the greatest fan contributors. And when we find those bright minds, we say "Thank you for your time" and escort them to the nearest exit.

Out of curiosity, what kind of panel do you wish to host? Is it a Strange Questions Panel? Is it a Subway Sandwiches Panel? Is it a Q&Q Panel? A Control Panel?

Alternatively, you can consider building your own panels. Try Home Depot, they even have tutorials.

really? i guess thing are ran differently here. at other cons i've been to, all i have to do is sign up (which equals to submitting the idea to the panel staffs) and if they like it, they will give you a room and time to do it.

oh well, never mind then.

one thing i was thinking of doing is like "movie bashing" panel. talking about all the errors they made with the movie. then there is the info panel where we talk about information about the new and old cartoons/anime (whatever you want to call it) and comics. i have few ideas i was hoping to submit them. not one of them involves guests so far.

I see, you mean a fan panel. A Movie Bashing Panel sounds like a great idea. Shall we do it right beside the Hasbro Q&A panel? Should we invite Don Murphy again and ask him to moderate it? Good thinking chisau.

As for the info panel, if you really want, put something together and show it to me and we'll see if it's up to snuff.

Dude, will all the movie flaws, it would require a 37 hour panel.

I completely agree on the nonsense of having panels making fun of Transformers; really defeats the purpose of being a fan.

But unfortunately, BotCon has an MSTK every year making fun of TF:tM. Then there's people who go to a TF:tM airing at conventions just to making obnoxious remarks and loudly make fun of everything.

It aint my cup of tea, but there's people who like doing negative things like that.
