TFcon 2008 Announced - June 21st Toronto Ontario

For those of you that attended the Canadian Action Figure Expo this weekend, hopefully you were able to receive our flyer announcing the date for TFcon 2008 which is returning to the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel Toronto Airport on 655 Dixon Road on June 21st for Canada's 7th Annual Transformers Convention.

For those of you wondering why the change of date? Well the US show is planning a spring date this year. Being that TFcon is now the 2nd largest gathering of Transformers fans in the world, we felt it necessary to ensure that the 2 conventions did not conflict as we know many people do enjoy attending both shows each year. We feel that people will agree that this was the best decision for everyone involved.

We are working on a few things that will be bringing the show to a new level. First off is Hasbro has been confirmed to attend TFcon this year. We will start taking your questions in the near future to prepare for a Hasbro Q&A panel at next year's convention. We hope you guys are as excited about this as we are.

As more details become confirmed including guests and events we will let you know, but of course Canada's largest dealer room for Transformers merchandise will be returning! If you want to sell at next year's con keep in mind table selection is filled on a first come, first served basis and you don't have to have a store to be a dealer.

such amazing timing.

i've been debating for a while about whether to go to tfcon 2008 for a while. since my money's been more or less devoted to saving up for wedding and mortgages and house payments and all that other growing up stuff for the next year. and also since next april was going to be prime planning and orchestrating time for my wedding.

looks like the decision was made for me.

so everyone make sure to have extra fun at the convention for me, since i wont be making an appearance.

every year i go to this thing it makes me more excited for the next one to come around (plus i somehow always seem to buy more even though each year i should need less TF) !...i guess good things u have to wait for (june is SOOOOOOO long away too bad its not a bi-yearly event)
