Re: X-Transbots: Apollyon review

Anyone able to remove the larger safety plug from the flash compensator attachment? The one from Apollyon's barrel was easy enough but the bigger one is in there pretty tight like a porn scene prop.

Re: X-Transbots: Apollyon review

Haven't tried yet, not sure I'll ever use those parts, not enough space on display.

Re: X-Transbots: Apollyon review

Wish I had your pragmatism, Pascal. Bought the JustiToys add-on for MP-5 to justify MP-5 in the first place so Apollyon's attachments were a big selling feature. The small part that pegs onto the underside of the artillery cannon mode on mine that acts as a counterweight doesn't want to peg in either. Somethig tells me I shouldn't try to convert him into a gun while watching Game Of Thrones as I'll need all my wits and patience no doubt.

I tried very hard and didn't succeed. It's super tough. I think if I tried harder, I will break the toy first.

This makes me think about the KO Downsized MP-5 that was never put in full production. That would have been cool!

I can't get it out either, I tried heat, steam, even alcohol...I wrote Transbots for some advice, hopefully I hear back.

Tried something like this yet?

If pushing on the plug isn't doing much for you, you could try just giving the screwdriver a swift tap upwards like this guy did:

Yes, that's what I tried first, and with considerable force, I might add. I tried vice grips and supporting the inside while twisting also..

I might do that, but the adhesion is so strong I'm a bit concerned ill end up with uneven bits of orange on the inside...hoping I hear from Keith then maybe I'll bring out the heavy machinery!
